Account and access
I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password. You can request a secure reset email or, when eligible, verify the full phone number associated with the account and enter the one-time code. Never share the code. After a successful reset, return to sign in with the new password.
I think someone accessed my account.
Change your password immediately from Settings, review your email and phone information, and sign out of devices you do not recognize if that control is available. Contact support@globamit.com if you cannot regain control. Include your username and account email, but never send your password or verification code.
Why am I not receiving a verification code or email?
Confirm the email or full phone number is correct, check spam folders, wait for the resend countdown, and verify you have network service. Too many attempts can trigger a temporary security limit. Try again later rather than repeatedly requesting codes.
Safety and privacy
How do I report or block someone?
Open the menu on the account or supported content and select Report or Block. Reports help our safety team assess the content; blocking restricts interactions and visibility. For an urgent child-safety issue, use the in-app report and email safety@globamit.com. Do not download or forward illegal imagery.
What does a private account change?
A private account limits eligible profile content to approved connections. Public or previously shared information may still be visible in contexts where you intentionally shared it, and approved viewers can make copies. Review individual content audiences, messaging and comment permissions, activity status, and location visibility in Settings.
How should I stay safe when meeting another user?
Meet in a well-lit public place, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transportation, keep payment and identity details private, and leave if you feel pressured. Verify goods and agreed work before payment. Report suspicious accounts and preserve ordinary transaction records without sharing sensitive credentials.
Content, messages, and connections
Why can’t I see someone’s content or message them?
The person may have a private account, limited who can message or comment, removed a connection, blocked an account, deleted the content, or been subject to moderation. Globamit does not disclose private account or enforcement details beyond what is appropriate.
How do I handle content that violates the rules?
Use the report option closest to the content and choose the most accurate reason. Add concise context. Do not retaliate or redistribute harmful material. Review the Community Guidelines for prohibited behavior and enforcement.
Collaborations and skill swaps
How do collaboration ratings work?
Eligible participants can review one another after a collaboration is completed. Ratings should reflect the genuine completed experience and must not be exchanged, purchased, threatened, or used as retaliation. Report manipulated or abusive reviews.
Who is responsible for a collaboration or skill swap?
Participants are responsible for agreeing on scope, deadlines, ownership, safety, and delivery. Globamit provides tools for coordination but is not an employer, staffing agency, insurer, or party to the user-to-user arrangement unless expressly stated.
Marketplace
How do I avoid marketplace scams?
Keep communication in Globamit where possible, inspect items, question unusual urgency or overpayment, and never share verification codes, passwords, full card data, or remote device access. Confirm the counterparty and transaction details before completing an exchange.
Can support resolve a transaction dispute?
Report prohibited behavior or fraud through the app. Support may review platform records and take account action, but user-to-user transaction terms and remedies remain the users’ responsibility unless a specific Globamit purchase protection term says otherwise.
Globamit Verified and billing
What does the verified badge mean?
It means Globamit approved the applicable verification review. It is not a background check, professional license, endorsement, or guarantee that an account will behave safely. A badge can be removed for authenticity, payment, safety, or policy reasons.
Is $11.99 a fee to create a Globamit account?
No. Regular Globamit account creation currently has no one-time registration fee and no registration deadline. The $11.99 offer applies only to the optional Globamit Verified application.
How does the $11.99 lifetime Verified offer work?
You must complete both the verification application and the one-time $11.99 payment by July 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Starting either step without completing it does not qualify. If Globamit approves the application, the eligible Verified access is lifetime, subject to Globamit’s authenticity, safety, payment, and account rules. The backend enforces the deadline. Starting August 1, 2027, new approved applicants move to the $11.99 monthly plan. Read the full offer details.
How do I cancel Globamit Verified?
If you subscribed through Google Play, use the in-app management link or Google Play Subscriptions. If you subscribed through Stripe, use the direct cancellation option in Globamit or email support. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Access generally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to the purchase terms and applicable law.
Why is a Google Play product unavailable?
Confirm the app was installed from an eligible Google Play testing or production track, the signed-in Google account is eligible for that track, the product and base plan are active in your country, and Google Play is up to date. Locally installed debug builds generally cannot complete a normal production purchase.
Your data and account
How do I download, correct, or delete my information?
Use the profile and account controls in Settings to correct information and use available data-download or account-deletion actions. If the app is no longer installed, use the secure web account-deletion portal. For another privacy request that cannot be completed through self-service controls, email privacy@globamit.com. We may verify identity before completing a request.
What happens when I delete my account?
Deletion removes or de-identifies account information according to the Privacy Policy. Some transaction, security, safety, legal, backup, or content records may remain for a limited or legally required period, and copies shared by other users may remain outside your control.
