1. Agreement and the Services
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the applications, websites, features, and services provided by Globamit LLC (“Globamit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collectively the “Services.” If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Certain features, promotions, or transactions may have additional terms presented before use; those additional terms also apply.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Globamit. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms where their consent is required. You may not use the Services if law prohibits you from doing so or if we previously disabled your account for a serious or repeated violation.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep it current, and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and verification codes. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Notify support@globamit.com promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You may not sell, transfer, rent, or create accounts deceptively or through unauthorized automation.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you create and share. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it and that it complies with law and these Terms.
To operate and improve the Services, you grant Globamit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, distribute, display, perform, and otherwise process your content, consistent with your settings and the feature you use. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where copies remain for a limited technical period, were shared by others, or must be retained for legal, safety, or enforcement reasons.
You grant other users the permissions inherent in the feature and your selected audience—for example, to view, respond to, or reshare content where the product permits. Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, but we do not require you to provide them.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow our Community Guidelines. You may not misuse the Services, interfere with security or operation, scrape or access them through unauthorized automation, reverse engineer except where law permits, upload malware, evade enforcement, impersonate others, infringe rights, exploit minors, engage in fraud, or use Globamit for unlawful activity. Do not collect or expose another person’s personal information without a lawful basis and permission.
6. Marketplace, collaborations, and skill swaps
Globamit provides tools that help users connect, collaborate, exchange skills, list items, and communicate about transactions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Globamit is not the buyer, seller, employer, staffing agency, insurer, escrow provider, or party to arrangements made between users. Users are responsible for evaluating counterparties, agreeing on scope and terms, complying with tax and other laws, delivering promised goods or services, and resolving disputes.
Ratings and reviews must reflect eligible, genuine completed experiences. We may remove manipulated or retaliatory reviews. Exercise care with in-person meetings: use a public location, tell someone you trust, protect payment and identity information, and report suspicious behavior. Globamit does not guarantee a user, listing, skill, outcome, or transaction.
7. Globamit verification
A verification badge indicates that Globamit completed the review represented in the application at that time. It is not an endorsement, guarantee of identity beyond the stated process, background check, professional license, credit assessment, or promise of conduct. You must provide authentic information and may not transfer, sell, imitate, or misuse a badge. We may request reverification or remove status if eligibility, payment, authenticity, safety, or policy requirements are no longer met. Globamit Verified is optional and separate from ordinary account registration.
8. Payments, subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Before purchase, the Services will present the price, billing period, benefits, and material terms. An auto-renewing subscription renews and charges the selected payment method each billing period until canceled. Taxes and currency conversion may apply. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Google Play purchases: Google Play processes payment and manages billing. Cancel through the subscription-management link in the app or Google Play Subscriptions. Access generally continues through the paid period after cancellation, subject to Google Play’s terms and applicable law.
- Direct Stripe purchases: Stripe processes payment. Use the cancellation control shown in the Globamit app or contact support@globamit.com. Cancellation stops future renewal and generally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless law requires otherwise.
Refunds are governed by the payment platform’s rules, the offer shown at purchase, and applicable law. A payment dispute or reversal may suspend the associated entitlement. The current Globamit Verified offer requires both the verification application and the one-time $11.99 payment to be completed by July 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. If the application is approved, the eligible Verified access is lifetime, subject to these Terms and our authenticity, safety, payment, and account rules. Starting August 1, 2027, new approved applicants move to the $11.99 monthly plan. The backend enforces the completion deadline. Regular Globamit account creation currently has no one-time registration fee or registration deadline. See the Globamit Verified offer details.
9. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review content and activity and use automated systems and human review to detect violations. We may reduce distribution, remove content, limit features, cancel listings, withhold or remove verification, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the Services. Urgent or severe harm may result in immediate action. Where appropriate, we may notify you and provide an appeal path.
You may stop using the Services and request deletion through available account controls. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, transaction obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive termination.
10. Globamit property and third-party services
The Services, including our software, branding, interfaces, and original content, are owned by Globamit or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services as intended. No other license is granted.
The Services may link to or depend on third-party platforms. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and Globamit is not responsible for third-party content or acts. References to third parties do not imply endorsement.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GLOBAMIT DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT USER CONTENT, USERS, TRANSACTIONS, COLLABORATIONS, SKILL SWAPS, OR RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, SAFE, OR SUITABLE. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability and indemnity
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAMIT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID GLOBAMIT FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Globamit harmless from third-party claims arising from your content, transactions, violation of these Terms or law, or infringement of another’s rights, to the extent permitted by law. We will provide reasonable notice and allow your participation in the defense.
13. Governing law and disputes
Before filing a claim, please contact legal@globamit.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Except where the law where you live requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and claims will be brought in state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Texas. This section does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or courts available under applicable law.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and provide additional notice for material changes where required. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Services before it takes effect. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with operating or reorganizing the business.
